Turkish Higher Education System

Universities, colleges, institutes, higher education schools, conservatories, scientific and applied centers, military and police universities and colleges, and research centers are considered as Turkish higher education institutions.

Universities, colleges, and institutions of higher learning are four-year and two-year applied science institutes, with departments and subdivisions established by Law and YÖK or the Council of Higher Education, respectively.

Turkish educational calendar and its similarities with Iran

The educational calendar for studying in Turkey is almost the same as in Iran, starting in mid-September (September) and continuing until mid-June, with some changes in the suburbs. Free basic education system in Turkey

Meanwhile, in the Iranian educational system, the duration of basic education is divided into two courses of 6 years.

An organization called the Supreme Council of National Education discusses education programs and provides legislation for the Ministry of Higher Education.
